A Good Place To Be

To the Editor:

I’ve enjoyed getting help at Newtown Senior Center with my knitting projects as well as having company for knitting — a chosen pastime of mine.

The need for more space seems especially evident in exercise classes. It seems to be a choice whether I have time to go so early and be able to have a choice for the excellent exercise program — or are home chores and needs more important that day?

Thanks for the opportunity to “have my say” as one of the 5,500 seniors currently living in Newtown. It’s a good place to be.
