Rising Again

HARTFORD (AP) – After a dramatic decline just before Labor Day, gasoline prices continue to increase in Connecticut, AAA reported Tuesday.

The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline has gone up 12 cents in the past month to $2.30.

A year ago the average price for regular gasoline in the state was $2.21.

The national average for gasoline has also gone up by about six cents a gallon, from $2.23 to $2.29. A year ago, the national average was $2.18 a gallon.
