‘I Still Want To Wear Heels’

Listen & Learn Lecture Planned

STRATFORD — St Vincent’s Medical Center is sponsoring a free talk open to the general public titled “I Still Want to Wear Heels” as a part of its fall Listen & Learn Lecture Series. The talk will take place Tuesday, November 3, from 6 to 7pm, at the Oronoque Country Club, 385 Oronoque Lane.

Featured speaker Anthony Iorio, MD, will discuss a holistic outlook on foot care and share on why it is important to keep feet healthy and fit. Dr Iorio is the chief of podiatric surgery and chief of the Section of Podiatry at St Vincent’s Medical Center.

He specializes in podiatry and is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is chairman and associate professor in the Department of Medical Sciences at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

A Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, he holds notable positions in the American Podiatric Academy of Practice Management, the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association, the American Diabetes Association and the National Arthritis Foundation.

Dr Iorio is also president and CEO of Fairfield Podiatry Associates, LLC, with offices in Fairfield, Norwalk, Westport, and Stamford. A question and answer session will follow the presentation, and light refreshments will be provided.
