Pace Guidelines

1. Competitors must ride in pairs or teams of three and time will run until all riders have completed the course. The ideal pace time will be determined when the MFH of the local hunt rides the course with a partner to set the pace (which will be kept secret).

2. A Junior team must consist of Juniors ONLY.

3. Informal hunting attire prior to opening meets and formal attire thereafter. Hard hats required.

4. All paces begin at 10 am, but local riders may ride earlier. Times and directions are obtained from Pace secretaries up to 6 pm on Friday evenings. Post entries are permitted at discretion of Pace Committee. Please be sure to give your telephone number to the secretary in the event of a cancellation.

5. There may be a vet check at the second checkpoint. Teams with horses not passing the vet check will be detained or excused.
