Beloved Wife And Mother
Marion V. Haskell, 73, of 95 Nashville Road, Bethel, beloved wife of the late Maurice Haskell, died at Danbury Hospital on August 21.
She is survived by three sons, Eric Channey of Newtown, Alan Channey of Woodstock, and John Channey of Deland, Fla.; three daughters, Tami Whitlock of Southbury, Bonnie Schoonmaker of Middlebury, and Cynthia Gagne of Putnam; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Stephen Channey.
Mrs Haskell was born in Norwalk, April 23, 1932, daughter of Homer and Mae (Peden) Lavoie. She attended Norwalk High School and lived in Norwalk until 1968 when she moved to Bethel.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St Mary Church, Bethel, on August 24. Burial was in Center Cemetery, Bethel.
