Apples & More On Monroe Green

MONROE — The annual Monroe Apple Festival, sponsored by St Peter’s Episcopal Church, will return to Monroe Green on Saturday, September 10, from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, September 11, from 10 am to 4 pm.

There will be crafters, Country Kitche, pies, chrysanthemums, an extensive snack bar, children’s activities including two moon bounces, and Apple Central (featuring fresh apples, cider, caramel apples, and other related items). On Saturday from noon to 3 pm there will also be homemade apple tarts with ice cream served.

The top prizes in this year’s festival raffle are a 32-inch Panasonic flat screen TV and a Weber gas grill.
