Help In A Time Of Need

To the Editor:

Friday’s snowstorm provided a classic example of why I choose to live in Newtown.

When my car was unable to get up a hill due to snow, a passing town worker, Chris Cappoziello, quickly plowed and sanded the area. In the meantime, a resident of a nearby home, two gentlemen on foot with snow shovels, and a passing SUV driver all inquired as to whether I needed additional help.

It was good to arrive home safely, knowing neighbors previously unknown to me are so willing to step forward in time of need.
