Paul J. Nealy, 53, of Sandy Hook, died unexpectedly, August 10, at his home. He was born in Bridgeport February 15, 1955, a son of Mary (Blasko) Ondov of Sandy Hook and the late James M. Nealy.
Mr Nealy was raised in Jackson Heights, Queens, N.Y., and was a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School. He was a self-employed carpet mechanic and had been a resident of Sandy Hook since 1978.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Amanda and Meghan Nealy of Shelton; a sister, Sharon Peloquin and her husband, James, of Trumbull; three nieces; and seven grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Calling hours were scheduled at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Thursday, August 14, from 5 to 8 pm.
Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, August 15, at 11 am, in Christ the King Lutheran Church, 85 Mt Pleasant Road, Newtown. Interment will be private.
