Relay For Life

There will be a Relay For Life meeting at 7 pm  on Wednesday, November 2, in the Newtown High School Lecture Hall. Anyone interested in volunteering or learning more about this American Cancer Society event is invited to attend.

Helen Benson and Guy and Lynda Russo are co-chairpersons for the third annual Newtown overnight relay that will be held on June 10-11.

Newtown was the top fundraising relay in Fairfield and Litchfield Counties last June, and 13th among 176 relays in New England, raising more than $280,000 and earning two national awards.
