Public Event Will Honor Holy Trinity’s 40th Anniversary

BRIDGEPORT — “An Evening of Wine Tasting and Hors d’oeuvres,” celebrating Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church’s 40th anniversary will be held on Thursday, November 10, at 7 pm. The public is invited to join church members in the Aegean Room of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Avenue.

Cost is $25, and all proceeds will benefit the philanthropic ministry and adult religious education programs of the church.

With the spirit of the Olympics still in the minds of all, organizers are hoping to celebrate the occasion as well as promote the Greek wines in the greater Fairfield County area.

Wines will be presented that evening by Mina Foods of West Haven, and will accompany delicious “Greek mezethes” (Greek hors d’oeuvres).
