The History Of Candlewood Lake

DANBURY — Six thousand acres, five towns, seven months: Learn about the creation of Connecticut’s largest lake on Saturday, July 7, at 2 pm, when Susan Murphy and Gary Smolen, authors of Candlewood Lake, discuss their book at Danbury Library. The 90-minute program will include historic photos and a discussion about the making one of the country’s largest manmade lakes.
