Elisabeth Mahoney was recently named among the recipients of the 2004 Law Students’ Legal Action Fellowship Award with the Peter Yarrow Fellowship. The Fellowship was founded in honor of Mr Yarrow (member of singing group Peter, Paul and Mary) and his commitment to social justice.

Nathan Taylor, currently a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania and member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, will be among the participants of the 2004 International Mission on Business abroad in China, and central and eastern Europe this summer. As an honored guest of the United States Consulate, Nathan will receive an official briefing on foreign relations from the ambassadorial staff in Shanghai, Prague and Vienna.

Westover School students Jenn Agius and Elizabeth Bowen were recently named to the school’s Winter Term Honor Roll.

Owen Kenneth Beams, son of Mark and Ann Beams, was cited for outstanding academic achievement in anthropology during his winter 2004 term at Dartmouth University in Hanover, N.H.

Meridith Brown and Teresa Kennedy, both of Sandy Hook, recently graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington. Meridith and Teresa completed 650 hours of courses including anatomy, physiology, pathology, and business.

Nat Proctor of Sandy Hook was named to the second academic honor roll (all A’s and one B) and the first effort honor roll (for excellent effort) at the Fessenden School in West Newton, Mass.

Michael Rigoli, son of Mr and Mrs Vincent M. Rigoli, was named to the Honor List at Roanoke College in Roanoke, Va.

Kerri Cullinan was recently inducted into the Alpha Theta Epsilon chapter of the Phi Thera Kappa National Honor Society at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury. The PTK Society was founded in 1918 by two-year college presidents who wanted to provide academic recognition for their students.
