To the Editor:

I have been involved in local politics for decades, and know what it takes to be a successful elected official. It takes a person who is thoughtful, understanding and knowledgeable about the needs of residents. Jen Aguilar has worked for our children, senior citizens, and emergency personnel.  She knows local business owners, members and leaders of local organizations, and families from every corner of the 112th district.  She has shown leadership, initiative and creativity.  She is a tireless worker who does not shy away from difficult tasks.  She not only meets, but she exceeds, what is needed to be a positive force in Hartford on our behalf.  

Her running for state representative is a natural evolution of her service to the community. Her goal is not higher office or self-promotion.  Her goal is to represent us fairly and honestly in Hartford.   And we can count on her to do just that!  Her record of service matches her words.  She is guided by family values and has exhibited the good judgment needed to be the voice we need in Hartford.

Voters have the opportunity to elect an outstanding individual to represent the 112th District. Jen Aguilar will serve all of us with the same passion, energy, and commitment she has devoted to all the service and volunteer work she has provided our community for over nine years.   I urge residents to support Jen Aguilar on November 4th.
