Make Your Taxes Less Taxing

The Working Women’s Forum of Newtown will present “Make Your Taxes Less Taxing” on Monday, January 9, at Sal e Pepe restaurant, 97 South Main Street.

Kelly M. Urso, founder of K.M. Urso & Company, LLC of Newtown, will be the speaker for the evening. She will discuss tax planning opportunities for individuals and small businesses that will benefit those who are self-employed, employed, and have families. She talk about how make deductions count, strategize business and family, and understanding the alternative minimum tax.

The meeting will begin with networking at 6 pm. Dinner will be at 6:30. Entrée choices include chicken Francaise, stuffed roast pork and penne vodka. The cost for dinner is $25 for members, $35 for nonmembers.
