Lions Seeking Names Of

Active Duty Service Personnel

The Newtown Lions Club is compiling a list of names of Newtown service personnel on active duty in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. The list of names will include family members and relatives of Newtown residents. The purpose of the list will be to send care packages to the service personnel within the next few months.

Anyone with the name of an active duty service person serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, or Kuwait may call Jack Russo at 364-9921, Fred Stakel at 426-2336, or Frank Gardner at 426-0587.

Collections for the care packages will occur after the list of names is completed, projected to be mid-February. At that time, specific plans for collection of contributions will be announced.
