Virginia Yerzak Knepple, 80, of Trumbull, died on Sunday, February 19, in her home.
She was the beloved wife of John J. Knepple Jr. In addition to her husband, Mrs Knepple is survived by her loving children, daughters Deborah Metz and her husband, Eric, of Newtown; Karen Wynne of Trumbull, Darlene Buccerri and her husband, Frank, of Ansonia; her son John Knepple III and his wife, Kathy, of Oxford; brother, Edward Yerzak of Waterbury; five grandchildren, Amy, Vincent, Frank, John IV, and Daniel; and a great-grandchild, Ryan.
Born in Waterbury, Mrs Knepple had been a Trumbull resident for 49 years. She was an avid bowler and gardener and loved flowers and tag sales.
Funeral services were held on February 23 at St Theresa Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
