Fifty Plus Group To Host New Member Program

DANBURY — The next meeting of the Women’s Center’s Fifty Plus Group will be a special new member welcome program addressing issues, concerns, and desired discussion topics of the new members in attendance. The meeting — on Saturday, April 5, from 11 am to 12:30 pm — will be at Women’s Center of Greater Danbury’s 2 West Street building.

The Fifty Plus Group, a gathering of married and single women over age 50, is a drop-in group that meets the first and third Saturdays each month. Call the Center at 731-5200 for more information.

The Women’s Center has been providing continuous service to greater Danbury residents for 27 year. In addition to support groups, the center offers counseling, crisis intervention, prevention programs, two 24-hour hotlines, workshops, and a referral helpline.
