Lost Miniature Poodle Waiting For Owner

A miniature poodle was roaming at the intersection of Currituck Road and Parmalee Hill Road on August 1 and picked up by Newtown Animal Control officials.

The next day, a female individual left a message at the dog pound in regard to her lost poodle. The message was very difficult to hear and was not clear, pound officials said. Several attempts that were made to contact the possible owner were unsuccessful. Since August 2, Newtown Animal Control has not received any phone calls or messages from an owner looking for a miniature poodle. The dog is a young female, mostly white.
