Local Screen Printer Acquired By Miracle Graphics

BETHEL — Miracle Graphics & Marketing, LLC, printing and promotional products specialists, recently acquired Wild River Screen Printing of Newtown from Paul and Meredith Ledney who started the business in 2003.

The purchase included production equipment, graphic and client files, as well as plans for expanding the company’s screening and graphic design departments to augment the many services Miracle Graphics has provided its customers for more than 30 years.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to expand the business,” said Sarah Becker, marketing specialist, artist, designer, idea generator, and owner of Miracle Graphics & Marketing. Ms Becker has transformed the humble beginnings of Rapid Graphics, founded in 1976, from an offset printing and copy shop to a marketing mecca of 850,000-plus promotional items and color digital printing.  

“It really was a group effort and amiable transition,” said Ms Becker referring to the turn of events that lead to the recent buy out. “Paul knows silkscreen production,” she added. Plans for the future include Mr Ledne’s continued involvement as a production and sales consultant for Miracle Graphics.

Ms Becker acquired her first commercial printing business in 1995, known as Miracle Printing & Design in Danbury, before establishing Miracle Graphics & Marketing, LLC in Bethel three years later. With contributions from creative staff or “Miracle Workers,” including key employee Amanda Riedinger, the company has been rebuilt implementing new products, staff training, and state-of-the art digital equipment.
