DANBURY â Registration is being accepted for a free and confidential incest survivorsâ support group to be conducted by The Womenâs Center of Greater Danbury. The group, facilitated by womenâs center counselors, will begin meeting for 12 weeks beginning in May.
Sessions will provide a safe, supportive environment where adult survivors of child sexual assault explore and share their experiences, learn from others, and continue to grow and heal.

The Womenâs Center of Greater Danbury provides free and confidential services to prevent or lessen the trauma associated with domestic violence, sexual assault, and other major life transitions to thousands of women, children, and men annually.
The programs of the Womenâs Center are supported by state and local government, area United Way agencies, and the people and businesses in the communities it serves including Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman, Warren, and Washington.
