A No Suds representative and a Darien man seeking the Republican nomination for US Senate will speak at the Newtown Republican Town Committee meeting Monday, April 12, at the Multi-Purpose Center.
Nina Allred of Newtown will acquaint Town Committee members with efforts No Suds is making to convince Newtown youth to not drink alcohol and how the community can get involved.

A graduate of Hamilton College with an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Chicago, Mr Streitz is the author of two musicals and a biography of Shakespeare entitled Oxford: Son of Queen Elizabeth I.
Other candidates throughout the state who have declared their interest in unseating US Senator Christopher Dodd include Jack Orchulli, also of Darien; William Silas Bentley III of New Haven; Miriam Masullo of New Canaan; and Alphonse Wright of New Britain.
Republican delegates will select a candidate May 8 at the State Convention at the Aqua Turf in Southington.
Both guests will speak at the beginning of the meeting at 7:30. The community is welcome to attend.
