Frank J. Crisona, 86, beloved husband of Joan (Lord) Crisona of Sandy Hook, died Wednesday June 21, in Danbury Hospital. He was born in Queens, N.Y., a son of Vitaliano and Rachel (Fantino) Crisona.
Mr Crisona was a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and was formerly an Assistant District Attorney in Queens, N.Y. During World War II, Mr Crisona served in the US Army Radio Corps.
A resident of Sandy Hook the past nine years, Mr Crisona was a longtime resident of Irvington, N.Y., and was the owner of F&J Transport Company in Bedford Hills, N.Y.
In addition to his wife, two sons, John Crisona of Woodcliff Lake, N.J., and Richard Crisona of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a daughter, Lisa Regen of South Salem, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren survive Mr Crisona.
A prayer service was held June 23 in the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown. Cremation will be private.
