Volunteer Tax Counselors Needed

The Connecticut AARP Tax-Aide (Tax Counseling for the Elderly) program provides free, confidential federal and state income tax assistance to low and middle income people of all ages, with special attention to those age 60 and older.

Computer literate volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are invited to join the team of counselors who assist taxpayers at more than 100 Connecticut sites. Volunteers do not have to be retired or an AARP member. Training will begin in November.
