WCSU Summer Star Party

DANBURY — Western CT State University will host a Summer Star Party from 9 to 11 pm on Thursday, July 8. The event will be at the university’s Westside Observatory, on the WCSU westside campus, University Boulevard (off Mill Plain Road). There will be telescopes available on the observatory’s patio, and amateur astronomers are invited to bring their own telescopes to view the summer Milky Way.

In the event of rain or cloudy skies, there will be planetarium shows at 9 and 10 pm. Admission is free and open to the public. Call 837-8671 or 837-8672 for additional information.
