Daniel Morehouse & Lauren Mattegat

A December 2011 wedding is being planned for Lauren J. Mattegat of Newtown, who is engaged to marry Daniel M. Morehouse, also of Newtown.

The future bride is a daughter of Melanie and L. Jay Mattegat of Newtown.

She is a 2005 graduate of Newtown High School and a 2009 graduate of Western Connecticut State University, where she earned a degree in marketing. She is employed as a bridal consultant of Julie Allen Bridals.

The future groom, son of Mary and Robert Morehouse of Newtown, is also a 2005 graduate of Newtown High School.

He studied engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and graduated in 2009. He is a mechanical engineer for Sperry Rail Service.
