Three Charges

Police report they stopped motorist Clay Blevons, 45, of Plainville for speeding on southbound Swamp Road at about 5:40 am August 3.

On investigating, police charged Blevons with speeding, driving an unregistered vehicle, and driving while under suspension. After arrest processing, police released Blevons on a written promise to appear August 15 in Danbury Superior Court.

 

Purse Found

About 1:30 pm July 30, a black purse containing rosary beads was found in the parking lot at Sand Hill Plaza at 228 South Main Street, police said. The owner may claim the purse by contacting Sergeant Darlene Froehlich at the police station, 3 Main Street, telephone 426-5841.
