Stanley J. Markis

Stanley J. Markis (Messenger), 40, of Joan Drive, Newtown, died November 23 at his home.

Stanley was born in Bridgeport on January, 6, 1960. A self-employed painter, he was a resident of Newtown since 1966 and attended Newtown High School

Survivors include his parents, Frank and Mildred (Criscione) Messenger of Newtown; two brothers, Joseph of England and Kenneth of Seymour; a sister, Mrs Lynn Esteves of Trumbull; and three nieces.

Funeral services were held November 27 in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment was in Newtown Village Cemetery.
