Sara Lovett has been awarded a scholarship by the American Association of University Women (AAUW)âBridgeport Area Branch for the 2006-07 school year. Sara, who did her undergraduate studies in psychology at Western Connecticut State University and Bard College, will begin a masterâs program in occupational therapy at Tufts University in Medford, Mass.
Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., announces the following students were named to the Deanâs List for the spring semester: Nicole Krause, majoring in psychology and special education; Megan D. Jennifer Dunseith, NHS Class of 2004, was named to the Deanâs List for the spring semester at The College of Saint Rose, Albany, N.Y.
Kristin Ryan, a senior at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y., has completed the SEA Semester program at Sea Education Association in Woods Hole, Mass. Kristin completed a four-week shore component studying oceanography, nautical science, and maritime studies. That was followed by four weeks at sea aboard SEAâs 134-foot sailing school vessel, the Robert C. Seamans. The journey began in Seattle and ended in San Francisco. Covering approximately 2,500 nautical miles. Kristin is the daughter of Pat and Jack Ryan of Sandy Hook.
