‘We Got Lyddy’

Support for the Herb Rosenthal, Joe Bojnowski, and all the Newtown Democrats transcends young and old alike. Take for example, Kyle Lyddy. Everyone who knows about sports in Newtown knows Kyle Lyddy. An athlete in his own right, Kyle was the young man leading the Newtown High Nighthawk fans with cheers, chants, and joshes at football games, men’s and women’s soccer games (2 LL State Championships 2004, thank you very much), etc. His athletic abilities and tremendous energy and spirit deservedly earned him The Newtown Bee’s Sportsman of the Year Award in 2003-2004. The Newtown Democrats are glad to have this young man on our side.

It’s with that same quick step, quick wit, and boundless energy that Kyle has single-handedly created the Newtown Democrats web page. You can see how such positive enthusiasm permeates the pages. No paid consultants, just Kyle Lyddy doing a phenomenal job, volunteering for the hometown Newtown Democrats, all the while away at college. If we were in Blue and Gold Stadium the chant might go, “We Got Lyddy!” You know what I’m talking about.
