BEDFORD, N.H. — “Ready, set, shop!” are the call words for Barn Star Production’s 8th annual Mid*Week in Manchester Antiques Show, August 8 and 9. Regarded as one of the most important buying opportunities of the year, collectors and dealers are planning their shopping strategy among the 104 invited exhibitors from 13 states.

The picturesque and accommodating Wayfarer Inn in Bedford, N.H., will again host the event in both its air-conditioned convention center and spacious tent pavilion. Mid*Week is delighted to welcome four new exhibitors this year. They are East Meets West Antiques, Woodbury, Conn.; Schweiz-Mar, St Joseph, Mo.; Denny Tracy, Ann Arbor, Mich.; and Michael Friedman, Bridgeport, Conn. Their specialties range from authentic Amish quilts to French country leather club chairs and everything in between. Known for quality and its variety of affordable antiques, Mid*Week’s additional 100 exceptional dealers will offer Eighteenth, Nineteenth, and early Twentieth Century objects saved especially for this show.

Says promoter Frank Gaglio, “It is hard to believe that Mid*Week is celebrating its eighth year. I am very proud of what the show has become and I have 104 terrific dealers to thank for it. My dealers save for this show, creating excitement and the understandable anticipation of the treasures that will be displayed. I’m also glad to report that The Wayfarer Inn has paved the parking lot where our tent goes up. It’s a little thing, but to me, it’s the little things that are making Barn Star shows stand out among the many. We anticipate a great show.”
