Calling All Alumni

The Guidance Department at Newtown High School invites college students who are alumni of NHS to visit and have refreshments on Wednesday, November 22, from 10 am to noon, in the NHS Career Center. As the day before Thanksgiving is traditionally a day when graduates return for a visit, the department wishes to make the occasion special.

The counselors would like students to represent their schools in a “College Fair” to be set up in the main lobby. Bring material from your college, i.e. applications, posters, etc., to set at your table and wear your school sweatshirt or T-shirt.

Students wishing to participate should email counselor Ana Mendes, mendesa@newtown.k12.ct.us, by November 10 to reserve a table.
