In Winter
DERBY â The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protectionâs (DEPâs) Kellogg Environmental Center will be holding a program about Connecticutâs wildlife in winter on Saturday, December 2, from 10 to 11:30 am.
Participants will start with a hike through the grounds of the Kellogg Estate and Osbornedale State Park in search of animal tracks and other signs of life. Staff members will then help them discover how animals adapt to winterâs harsh environmental conditions.
