Connecticut State Trooper Gerard Johansen, a graduate of WestConn’s Division of Justice and Law Administration, will discuss “Identity Theft: Protecting Your Good Name” at a Village at Brookfield Common University (BCU) event Wednesday, January 10, at 10 am, at The Village at Brookfield Common, 246A Federal Road in Brookfield. The program will also be offered that afternoon in Ridgefield.

BCU is a partnership between WestConn and the senior living community in Brookfield, which aims to provide continuing education opportunities for residents and the public.

Trooper Johansen will then be at Ridgefield Crossings, at 640 Danbury Road in Ridgefield, to present the same program at 2 pm the same afternoon. The second presentation is also free and open to the public.
