Garner Inmate Charged In Assault On Correction Officers
State police said that they arrested a Garner Correctional Institution inmate on the morning of January 1, after he allegedly struck two correction officers in the face at the high-security prison at 50 Nunnawauk Road.
State police said they arrested inmate Jassean Crispin, 20, on a charge of assault on a correction officer. The two correction officers were not injured in the incident, state police said.
Crispin was scheduled to be arraigned January 2 in Danbury Superior Court.
Crispin, who was admitted to the state prison system last April, is serving a sentence for a conviction on assault on a police officer.
