HARTFORD – No bones about it, the Hartford Civic Center’s Exhibition Hall will once again gladly go to the dogs.

The Elm City Kennel Club Dog Show will be held Saturday, February 17, from 8 am to 6 pm and the First Company Governor’s Foot Guard 76th Dog Show and Obedience Trials will be held Sunday, February 18, from 8 am to 4 pm.

The canines will be on display and strutting their stuff during the two shows, both of which include obedience trials. The First Company Governor’s Foot Guard Athletic Association show is an American Kennel Club (AKC) sanctioned all breed, obedience, junior showmanship show that draws well over 1,000 entries of around 150 different breeds from all over the country and Canada.

Both shows are open to the public.

Tickets are $8 for adults, with a $3 discount for seniors and military personnel showing ID. Children under 12 are admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Visit www.governorsfootguard.com for more information or call 860-522-1337.
