Golf Tourney Benefits Cove

MERIDEN — The Cove Center for Grieving Children will hold its Fifth Annual Cove Kids’ Classic Golf Tournament on Monday, July 18, at the Farms Country Club in  Wallingford.

This year’s golf tournament will be in a shamble format with lunch and registration at 11 am and a shotgun start at 12:30 pm. Registration is $175 per person, which includes a round of golf, car, banquet dinner, gift and goody bag.

Prizes will be given to teams and individual golfers. There will also be a mega raffle and silent auction with many great prizes.

The Cove is a safe and healing place for children and families that have experienced the death of a loved one to turn to for support. The Cove encourages children to express their unresolved grief in a healthy way.
