Quilting For Kids At Bethel Library
BETHEL â Bethel Public Library will present âQuilting for Kidsâ on Thursday, February 8, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Students in grades 3â5 are invited to attend this program, where they will learn about the history of quilting and be taught the basic quilting stitch by local teacher Mary Ferri.
The children will make a quilted hot pad with a heart design, just in time for Valentineâs Day. All materials will be provided.
Registration is required and class size is limited to 12 children. To sign up for the program, visit the library or call 794-8756, extension 5.
