How weird is this?
The New York Giants â where the name Lawrence Taylor became legendary â is ranked last in the NFC in total defense. The Giants have allowed just 90.3 yards a game on the ground and I suppose thatâs okay, but they have been torched for 314.3 yards through the air and only by mediocre quarterbacks.
Yet, the Giants are still 2-1.
It is a world gone mad, thatâs for sure.
As another example that the world has gone mad, the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority â which will oversee about $250 million in improvements to Giants stadium â is seeking to host the Super Bowl in 2008 or 2009.
The Super Bowl.
In New Jersey.
In January.
Is it just me, or is that the most lamebrained idea I have ever heard?
Itâs a world gone mad. Well, here are the picks â
