The subject of the April 8 Bible lesson-sermon is “Unreality.” Golden Text-II Corinthians 4:6 (“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”) On Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 pm there are readings from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, followed by testimonies of healing through prayer. A community sunrise service will be at Weigert’s Farm, Route 25, at 6:15 am. For the 10 am worship service on April 8, Easter Sunday, the Rev Ann Beams will present a message entitled “Early in The First Day of the Week.” The Scripture lessons will be Isaiah 68:17–25 and John 20:1–18, and the choir will sing “Christ the Lord is Risen Again” by John Rutter and “Easter Anthem” by William Billing. There will be no Sunday school for adults or youth. Child care will be provided during the worship service and Sunday school time; fellowship and coffee follows the worship service, and there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. Adult midweek Bible study meets Tuesday, 7:30 to 9 pm. The adult midweek Lectionary Bible study meets each Tuesday, 7:30 to 9 pm.
