All State Lacrosse Honorees

Rachel Maley, Jen Greenwood and Erica Vacaro of the Newtown High School girls’ lacrosse team were honored on Monday, June 18, at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville for their placement on the CIAC Cll-State team. Maley was a second team selection, Greenwood an Academic All-State selection, and Vacaro a first team selection. The three were tri-captains of the 2007 NHS squad which captured its third consecutive South-West Conference championship this month. Maley is heading to Ithaca College, Greenwood to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Vacaro to the University of Delaware.
