Businesses At Salute

The Newtown Economic Development Commission is sponsoring its 10th Annual Salute to Business at the Rock Ridge Country Club, Thursday, October 4 from 5 to 7:30 pm.

A buffet diner will be served and cash bar provided. Awards will be presented at about 7 pm to select Newtown enterprises that have committed to the community by rebuilding or expanding facilities at their original location. These organizations continued to provide goods and services to the people of  Newtown while rebuilding.

This annual event is among the commission’s most popular opportunities for local business people to network with other local business professionals. For reservations, call the Newtown First Selectman’s office at 270-4201.
