Planning Fundraising Book Sale
DANBURY â Over 75,000 items sorted into over 40 categories, including a large collection of recently deaccessioned books from Danbury Museum & Historical Society, will be offered during a giant book sale the weekend of October 6-8.
There will be books in almost every category imaginable, from antiques, art and biographies to childrenâs, sports and travel. There will also be audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, records and videos.
The sale will be presented at the Police Activities League (PAL) building, 35 Hayestown Road (across from Danbury Town Park).
It will open at 8 am on Saturday, October 6, but numbers will be given out at 7 am for line placement. An admission of $10 will also be charged during the first hour of the event only.
The sale will continue on Saturday from 9 am until 5 pm. Sunday, when books will be available for half price, the sale will run from 10 am until 4 pm, and on Monday the sale will run from 9 am until 1 pm and books will be $5 per bag.
Refreshments will be available all weekend.
