WELLESLEY, MASS. — On Sunday, February 6, at 2:30 pm, at the Wellesley Community Center, the Wellesley Historical Society will present Richard Porter as the “Thermometer Man.”

Porter, a resident of Onset, Mass., is an authority on the history of temperature recording, and owns the world’s largest thermometer collection. He will speak on the history of thermometers and will feature 50 examples from his collection. The center is at 219 Washington Street.
