MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. — The Minneapolis Institute of Arts will present the exhibition, “Call And Response: New Work By Ta-Coumba Aiken,” on view November 16–January 13.

Found in the new Minneapolis Central Library, Minneapolis skyways, and St Paul parking ramps, Ta-coumba Aiken’s popular public artworks are a familiar sight around the Twin Cities. Known for community interaction, Aiken’s new work at the MIA includes a large mosaic, which will allow visitors to assemble and arrange painted squares into new compositions.
