Veterans’ Day Celebration Planned

BETHEL — Bethel Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 935 will host their annual Open House and Veterans’ Appreciation Day on Veterans’ Day — Sunday, November 11 — at their post home, The Second Meeting House at 40 Main Street.

The event will start immediately following the Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 am at the Veterans’ Monument in front of the Municipal Center and end at 3 pm. Veterans or family members of veterans are invited to take part and display their memorabilia from the active duty service.

The post would like to extend a special invitation to all Desert Storm, Afghanistan, and Iraq veterans.

The public is invited and light refreshments will be provided.
