Altercation
Police have charged two residents on warrants in connection with an altercation that occurred on September 7.
On November 23, police charged David Kaza, 21, of 4 Clearview Drive with second degree breach of peace. The following day, police charged David Troccolla, 21, of 155 Alpine Drive with third degree assault. Both men were released on promises to appear in Danbury Superior Court. Kaza has a December 9 court date. Troccolla is scheduled to appear on December 10.
High School
On November 23, police charged an unnamed 15-year-old boy on a warrant listing one count of breach of peace in connection with an incident which occurred November 5 at the Newtown High School parking lot. Police investigated a complaint and then obtained the arrest warrant for the boy.
Police said the boy and another person were involved in an incident involving fighting, violence, and threatening behavior. The victim in the case was not injured, police said.
Because the offender is under age 16, his identity is shielded from public disclosure by state law. Police released the boy on a promise to appear December 8 in Danbury Juvenile Court.
Audi Vs Deer
Motorist Sandra K. Stockwell, 56, of 57 Bennetts Bridge Road was driving a 2000 Audi A-6 sedan eastward on Jeremiah Road about 5:52 pm November 20, when the vehicle collided with a deer in the eastbound lane near 48 Jeremiah Road, police said. Stockwell was not injured, police said.
Deer Vs Audi
Motorist Deirdre Segerson, 72, of New London, N.H., was driving a 1999 Audi A-4 Avant station wagon eastward on Route 302 about 6:18 pm November 20, when the auto collided with a deer in the eastbound lane, police report. Segerson was not injured.
