Newtown Youth & Family Services 22nd Annual Holiday Festival takes place on Main Street. It will began at 11 am Sunday, December 2, and run until 5 pm.
Reed Intermediate Schoolâs fifth and sixth gradersâ performance of A Christmas Carol will begin at 4 pm during the festival. Call 426-4874, ext 22, for ticket information

Youth Programs
YAB meets Monday, December 3, from 2 to 3 pm, at Newtown High School.
NYCAAP will meet Wednesday, December 5, 7 to 8 pm at Newtown High Schoool.
Job Bank
Monday and Wednesday, 5 to 7 pm. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 2:30 to 5:30 pm. NYFS is now accepting applications from qualified 13â17-year-olds who would like employment babysitting, pet-sitting, or doing miscellaneous household chores. Call for application.
Parent Education Program (PEP)
The State of Connecticut requires completion of this program as a prerequisite to granting a divorce. Sessions of the course sequence are designed to help families cope with the effects of divorce on children. Call 426-8103 for more information.

Gym Time meets Wednesday, December 5, from 9:30 to 11:30 am, at Edmond Town Hall.

Grandparents Group meets Wednesday, December 5, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, at 17 Church Hill Road. Note change of location.
Sib Shops meet Wednesday, December 5, from 5 to 6:30 pm, for children ages 10â14.
Children of Divorce meets Thursday, December 6, from 5 to 6:30 pm, for children ages 10â14.
