Raffaela Porpora Paduano, 96, died December 25 at St Joseph’s Manor in Trumbull. She was previously of New Rochelle, N.Y. Mrs Paduano was born in Ravello, Italy, on August 13, 1911, to Filomena Cioffi and Baldassare Porpora. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter V. Paduano.

Mrs Paduano is survived by three children, Peter Paduano and his wife, Susan, of Newtown, Laurel Queen of Venice, Fla., and Phyllis Detta and her husband, Frank, of Trumbull; five grandchildren, Laurel Havens, Linda Somma and her husband, Guy, Wayne Queen, Jennifer Hoag and her husband, Bruce, and Peter V. Paduano and his wife, Katya; four great-grandchildren, Ryan Havens, Guy Somma, Jillian Hoag, and Sophia Paduano; and a sister, Ann Curicio of Bronxville, N.Y.

Friends may call on Friday, December 28, from 10:30 to 11:30 am in the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A Mass of Christian burial will be held in the St Stephens Church in Trumbull at 12 pm. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in New York.
