To the Editor:

On behalf of the Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard (2GHG), I would like to express our shock and sorrow upon hearing of the sudden passing of Sports Editor Kim Harmon.

I would like to acknowledge Mr Harmon for always posting our news and photos in The Bee. Kim held space when we cut it close on deadlines and he always presented our information conspicuously and with great care. He ran many 2GHG photos and always posted our events in the calendar. Mr Harmon and The Bee have helped 2GHG publicize all of our endeavors, including the Horse Show, the Open House and the St Jude’s Trail ride.

I would also like to send condolences to Mr Harmon’s family for their loss. 2GHG, The Bee staff and the entire community will sorely miss Mr Harmon’s competence, dedication, and commitment to his work.

In the best 2GHG tradition, Kim Harmon stood “Ready to Serve.”
