Cantata

TRUMBULL — The Cantata Choir of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Oxford will present the Christmas Cantata “One Incredible Moment” by Tom Fettke and Max Lucado at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 5995 Main Street in Trumbull, on Sunday, December 12, at 2 pm.

The cantata will also be presented at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 25 Great Hill Road in Oxford on Sunday, December 19, at 2 pm.

The 50-plus voice ecumenical music group, now in its fifteenth year, is comprised of adult and children’s voices as well as a narrator, soloists and brass. Weekly rehearsals begin in September of each year, increasing to twice per week in November.

In addition to the cantata, which tells the Christmas story, this year’s program also includes fresh arrangements of seasonal favorites.

There is no admission charge to either performance, but freewill donations will be accepted. Refreshments will follow both performances.
